Elegibility
A minimum bachelor’s degree.
A degree in Fire Engineering can be a B.Sc. Fire Engineering or B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree in Fire Engineering.
For admission into the postgraduate courses in Fire Engineering and similar disciplines, is BE in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Certificates and Diploma programs are also offered to class 10 and 12 (with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English) pass out students.
The Purvanchal Institute of Fire and Safety Management, is an apex body of the Government of India, which administers entrance exam for admission into 3 ½ years B.Sc Program in Fire Engineering.
To qualify for a course in fire engineering, certain physical parameters are to be met.
- Height: 5′ 5″ (minimum)
- Weight: 50 kgs
- Vision: 6/6 (without aid)
