Elegibility

  1. A minimum bachelor’s degree.

    A degree in Fire Engineering can be a B.Sc. Fire Engineering or B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree in Fire Engineering.

  2. For admission into the postgraduate courses in Fire Engineering and similar disciplines, is BE in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

  3. Certificates and Diploma programs are also offered to class 10 and 12 (with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English) pass out students.

The Purvanchal Institute of Fire and Safety Management, is an apex body of the Government of India, which administers entrance exam for admission into 3 ½ years B.Sc Program in Fire Engineering.

To qualify for a course in fire engineering, certain physical parameters are to be met.

  • Height: 5′ 5″ (minimum)
  • Weight: 50 kgs
  • Vision:  6/6 (without aid)

Are there any Seminars for Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering Techniques Courses?

Successful candidates are provided certificates within 30 days from the announcement of result. Certificate & Marks will be issued from Central Board of Examination & National Development agency, promoted by the Government of India. Separate certificates will be issued to candidates who passed with distinction and first class.o.

Do you need training to be a fire marshal?

The answer is yes; under the provisions of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order of 2005 you are obliged to offer both general fire safety training for all members of staff, and specialist fire warden or fire marshal training for appointed staff members.
